We design systems to meet these industry standards, as well as our own standards, to assure that our finished product is going to perform at the level to assure complete, unhindered satisfaction. 4) CUSTOMER SUPPORT & SATISFACTION - RTA Security is not done with a project until you are completely satisfied and well trained on the use of your product. We are always there to provide follow-up support after the installation and answer any questions that may arise.

RTA Security utilizes non-proprietary equipment in all its installations. Some companies use equipment that only they can monitor due to the way the mother boards are manufactured. This mean that after satisfying your initial contract term with these companies, your panel will not be able to be monitored by another Alarm company. This involves swapping out your control panel and sometimes, even your keypads in order to gain service from another company.   

With RTA Security, we sell systems that can be monitored by any competent alarm company should our relationship with you ever end. We do not believe in our customers being bound to us by a lengthy contract or the utilization of proprietary equipment. Once your system is installed, you “own” the system. If you would like the system to be monitored we would love to have your business, and we utilize a UL Listed Central Station that is one of the best in the country. We believe in earning your business and maintaining a relationship by providing you with prompt and professional service. Not, binding you to us by the use of a proprietary system or the leasing of the equipment to you during the contract term.

There are many companies that offer little or no money down for the installation of a basic system. Their niche in this business is to get you to sign a long term binding monitoring contract with a larger payment per month. Some companies actually are leasing you the equipment that they install in your home or business. These companies all use proprietary equipment to keep you bound to them as customers.

At RTA Security, we don’t have what would be referred to as a “basic system”. All of our systems are custom designed to suit your needs after we have discussed your concerns with what type of protection you are looking for.
